Fixed Term / Paid Internship
We’re in need of a pair of extra hands to help out with a really busy period. You would be working to support a wide variety of client-facing, project and business development-type tasks. It’s probably a really good thing if you’re a bit of a generalist and hungry to grow a wide range of skills, fast. You’ll be working very closely with two key individuals and can expect a high level of feedback and mentoring.
We are a small team of web application developers who create systems and software to solve challenging and meaningful problems in various domains.
We are a team of curious-minded people who support each other, hold robust debates and don’t mind helping each other move house on the weekend. We thrive on challenges, we view our successes (and failures) as opportunities for growth, and we never, ever want to stop learning. We value mindset over skill set and we believe the team is more powerful than the individual.
Whatever your background, you will definitely need to be:
A quick thinker and a problem solver,
Not too reliant on routine and happy to embrace shifting priorities across each day,
Very presentable, you’ll be out meeting clients,
The possessor of impeccable written and spoken English;
Someone who doesn't get flustered or overwhelmed too easily,
Next-level organised with outstanding attention to detail,
Comfortable with technology, using it, supporting it and learning new things,
Great at working to deadlines and juggling competing priorities,
Effective time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities,
Hungry for new opportunities and the chance to learn.
Some of the practical day-to-day things you can expect to be doing:
Scheduling & organising meetings, attendees and agendas,
Attending meetings, taking minutes and organising follow-up activities,
Market Research (reviewing events, industries, networks),
Artefact Maintenance for monthly sales meetings (eg account plans, account numbers and forecasts)
Following up on follow-ups
Support team members to be prepared for meetings,
Supporting the facilitator at workshops (taking minutes, preparation, sticky note collection, organising information etc),
Converting workshop outputs into digital tools,
A few details
