Partner Outcomes Manager (Account Manager/Software)

We know that ‘account management’ can mean many things and we are not set on hiring someone who has held this title. We value skills and mindset over job title. We need you to be able to prioritise customer service, listen to our partners (clients) and build strong relationships. You may have experience working in local or central government, fostering relationships and using your creative problem solving to tackle complex problems. You may hold a close network of interesting people and be most at home sharing ideas and cultivating connections. Your background might be in software development and service delivery, or something else entirely with transferable skills and experience.
As a Partner Outcomes Manager you will focus daily on the needs, challenges and opportunities of our partners and service delivery teams to maintain excellent relationships with our key accounts. You’ll be driven to build strong, long term relationships and be confident that your communication and interpersonal skills are up to the task. Ideally, you’ll be the kind of individual who loves finding creative solutions to unique problems and can place technical solutions in the context of our partner’s strategic goals. You’ll know when to leverage your negotiation and facilitation skills and bring strategic thinking and planning abilities to deliver the outcomes our partners need. Ultimately, you’ll love being part of a high-performing team and bring a desire to collaborate and contribute your strengths for the team cause.

Some of the practical day-to-day things you can expect to be doing:
Supporting delivery teams to meet partner and organisational expectations;
Coordinating with teams working on the same account to ensure consistently excellent service;
Relationship Management and high-quality communication across various channels and contexts;
Exploring our partners needs, challenges and goals
Using your creativity to develop win-win solutions for Media Suite and our Partners
Creating roadmaps and account plans;
Research and opportunity identification;
Being across the commercial performance of our engagements
Helping our partners to understand our processes and methodologies;
Supporting our partners to meet their own obligations during development;
Supporting our partners to support their own stakeholders;
Writing statements of work/ project briefs;
Standing as an advocate and conduit to ensure our delivery teams live and breathe our partner’s needs;
Helping our partners to look good (for example helping them to tell their story through case studies & presentations)
Supporting the effort to estimate and price projects;
Ensuring smooth handovers between phases of projects;
Seeking Satisfaction Feedback & implementing changes where need;
Building great relationships (incl networking activities);
Skills, Experience & Education:
You will definitely have relevant professional experience but we are open to what that experience might look like. It would certainly be advantageous if you had a background in an agile software development/ software sales context. Whatever your background, we think you’ll certainly need a credible body of experience to meet the requirements of this role.
